25th annual Bowl for Kids' Sake!
This year marked a monumental year for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central NM. Our 25th annual Bowl for Kids' Sake was the most successful in the history of the agency. With the help of our community we raised nearly $100,000!
Bowl for Kids' Sake (BFKS) is the largest annual volunteer recruitment and fundraising campaign for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central New Mexico. No bowling expertise is required. BFKS is about raising awareness and funds for kids in Central NM. Mark your calendars for April 2009, and join us next year!
How Does Bowl for Kids' Sake Work?
People in our community form teams of five with one member acting as the Team Captain. Each member on the team raises awareness and funds through online and pledge sheet fundraising with a team goal of $500. The Bowl for Kids' Sake culminates in April for a big "THANK YOU" party to recognize participants for raising awareness and funds for BBBS-CNM. Prizes are awarded based on funds raised, so the more donations a participant collects, the better the prize.
Prizes will be awarded after July 15, 2008.

Why Participate Next Year?
Right now there are over 200 kids waiting to be matched with a Big Brother or Sister. Most of these kids will wait two years! There may be 200 kids waiting but over 30,000 kids are in need of a Big Brother or Sister in Central NM right now. That is a lot of lives to change, so please help by joining our community as we bowl for kids' sake.
